Cobham A (Max, Martha & Scarlett) become the U17 Champions- congratulations on an impressive team performance winning all 5 matches comfortably!
Cobham B (Tom, Catherine & Phoebe) fenced brilliantly with wins over Kingston and Egham/Coton to finish a very respectable 4th!
Both teams fenced really well and supported each other throughout the tournament- well done!
Well done also to Stefano who fences with us at school on being part of the winning Wimbledon team in the U13’s, and to Zed and Rishikesh finishing runner up in the same event for RGS Guildford.

Ian Skitt, a sabreur on the Welsh Team bumped into Marc at the BYC’s in May. They hadn’t seen each other for well over 20 years from their time competing for the West Midlands. He mentioned that he had an old photo of the West Mids squad that competed at the 1994 Commonwealth Games in Whistler, Canada! (Back row L-R: Stuart Evans, Helen Willaby, Ian Skitt. Front row: Marc Bengry, Carol Greenway, Penny Tomlinson)
